Meet the Team

Co-Founder/Executive Director
Kent Michael, Ph.D.
Kent Michael has spent more than a decade helping leaders grow in clarity, resilience, and purpose. He began his career as a marriage and family therapist in private practice, working closely with individuals, couples, and families through life’s most difficult seasons. He later served as a consultant at a business psychology firm, advising organizations on leadership and workplace dynamics. Drawing on both clinical and consulting experience—and a deep appreciation for the relational systems that shape our lives—his work now focuses on supporting pastors and Christian leaders through coaching, training, and leadership formation, and he teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Coming from generations of ministers, Kent knows firsthand how challenging the work of ministry can be and carries a deep desire to serve as a trusted resource for pastors and Christian leaders navigating its demands.
He holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from The University of Alabama, a Master of Education in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Montevallo, and a Bachelor’s from Samford University.
At home, Kent enjoys quiet weekends with his wife and three children. His favorite pastimes include fly fishing, hiking, watching Alabama football, and producing music for his church.
