The Resilient Pastor Cohort
The Resilient Pastor Cohort is a program designed to equip ministers in their quest to bridge the gap between faith and functioning in their personal and congregational ties. As society becomes less mature, it is incumbent on pastors to become more adept at managing self (i.e. their responses) and coach others to do the same.
The Resilient Pastor program will:
-
Prepare ministers to lead more effectively in an increasingly anxious climate
-
Decrease ministerial burn-out
-
Increase understanding of personal and congregational relational systems
-
Give ministers tools to understand and navigate societal regression
Program participants are required to meet for one day each month throughout an academic year (September - May).
The schedule is as follows:
8:30 - Devotional
8:45 - Relational Systems Lecture
10:00 - Coffee Break
10:15 - Relational Systems Video
11:00 - Theological Application Lecture
12:00 - Lunch
1:00 - Minister Case Presentation #1
2:00 - Coffee Break
2:15 - Minister Case Presentation #2
